World Clock provides a multipurpose clock that includes an alarm, timer, and stop watch, all included in a straightforward albeit plain interface. The app's key feature, a world clock, allows you to check the time in any city around the globe, making it a useful tool for travelers. The app's unappealing background, however, makes it less enjoyable than it could have been.

Word Clock installs in no time and then shows you the current time and date in a digital format, as well as an analog clock on a rather dull dark blue background which cannot be changed or customized. The world clock features are accessible from the top menu; adding new cities takes little time, thanks to the automatic suggestions. A nice touch is the little sun or moon icon next to any city on the list, which makes it easy to see day and night time zones. The timer and stop watch features are basic but useful, as is the alarm. You can create multiple alarms with notifications, as well as have the app automatically change the volume of the phone just before launching the alarm, to make sure you wake up. Thumbs up for that!
