Think of this set as an introduction to birding or as reference material for a class: Common North American Birds 101. The Xeno-Canto number is associated with each recording (Bird Common Name XCnumber) and metadata is available with each file. No recordings are modified. However, they are converted to Android smart phone format (m4a). The songs fall under the Creative Commons licenses and allow users to download and distribute recordings under certain conditions specified by the license associated with each file.
